- Title of training: Advanced topics in phylogeny reconstruction
- Description of project: A series of workshops including lectures, computer practicals, literature study and discussion. Topics treated are: advanced options and additional programmes for parsimony analysis, species concepts and their role in phylogeny reconstruction, phylocode vs. traditional classification, maximum likelihood and Bayesian analysis, total evidence approaches and supertree methods.
