EDIT Expert-in-training programme

EDIT provides a limited number of short-term traineeships for graduate students and early career researchers working in the field of taxonomy. The main objectives of the programme are:

to provide trainees with a firsthand experience of working in an EDIT institution or European university / research institute;
to provide the opportunity to put into practice knowledge acquired during their studies, and in particular in the field of taxonomy;
to enable such trainees to develop and to strengthen their taxonomic research skills.

For the 2009-2010 scheme, the deadline for applications was the 15 August 2009. The call is now closed.
