Registration has been closed for all courses of 2010-2011.
DEST announces, within the framework of EDIT, a number of theoretical courses for students, technicians and early career researchers involved in the field of taxonomy.
Primary objective of the programme is to provide future professionals with fundamental expert knowledge on basic taxonomy.
The course programme targets topics such as: nomenclature; describing, writing and illustrating biodiversity/species; collection conservation.
A limited number of EDIT grants is available.
The programme is open to trainees from Europe and outside of Europe.
